liquefaction

With the Pacific Earthquake Engineering Research Center and the University of Washington, Mike Greenfield researched procedures to reduce the uncertainty in liquefaction deformations.  The key to this procedure is estimating the timing of liquefaction using time-frequency analysis based on recorded ground motions.  Check out Mike's upcoming paper at the 11th National Conference on Earthquake Engineering.
